2012 Tour Dates with Ms. Lauryn Hill Announced

Doug will be joining Ms. Lauryn Hill on scheduled dates beginning New Year's Eve 2012 in Miami Beach FL. Ms. Lauryn Hill with Doug and her band will also perform in Kingston, Jamaica on January 7, 2012 as part of the "Shaggy and Friends 2012" Charity Concert staged by the Shaggy Make A Difference Foundation to raise funds for the Bustamante Hospital for Children in St Andrew. Appearing along with Ms. Hill and Shaggy at the Charity Concert will be Maxi Priest, Half Pint, Cocoa Tea, Deneice Williams, i-Octane, Romain Virgo, Assasin, Wayne Marshall, Mr. Vegas, Tami Chynn, Gyptian and Destra. Doug w/Ms.Lauryn Hill at Mohegan Sun Arena

Ms. Lauryn Hill's recent performance at Mohegan Sun Arena on December 17, 2011 featured Connecticut's own Doug Wimbish on bass. "It's always exciting coming back home to Connecticut and playing for my family and friends...I'm blessed to have all the support and love!"

Living Colour Performing in Benefit Concert for Donovan Drayton January 4, 2012

On Wednesday, January 4, 2012, The Black Rock Coalition proudly presents
'The Million Man Mosh: A Benefit For Donovan Drayton' at The Highline Ballroom in NYC. The show will feature two of the city's most renowned bands gracing the same stage for
the first time: The Grammy-Award winning group Living Colour and funk-metal-soul pioneers
24-7 Spyz. Hip-hop founding father Afrika Bambaataa will do a DJ set and there will be a late
jam with special guests including legendary guitarist Ronny Drayton. Proceeds for the event will
go to the legal defense of Donovan Drayton, son of Ronny, who has been incarcerated at Riker’s Island for four years without a conviction.

The WimBash Music Festival Series is heading to Miami Beach, FL this coming January, 2012 as part of Art Deco Weekend 2012! Doug, named as the Art Deco Weekend 2012 Musical Director, is bringing his famed WimBash and all of it's musical talent and excitement to Ocean Drive!

Presented by Art Deco Weekend 2012, WimBash>>Miami Beach will be held amongst four venues along Ocean Drive, Miami Beach, from January 11 - 15, 2012. Doug along with Funky Nation's Big Sam Williams will be joining Miami Afro-Latin-Funk band Suenalo at an after party Saturday, January 14 at The Stage in Miami Beach.
