Doug Wimbish and Dellé honor the legacy of “Queen” singer Freddie Mercury on the 30th anniversary of his passing by joining forces to cover Queen’s iconic song “Another One Bites The Dust”.

Doug Wimbish, well known as the bassist for the legendary Hip Hop label Sugarhill Records as well as the pioneering Living Colour, Mick Jagger, Madonna, Mos Def, and many more, now connects with the brilliant vocalist Dellé, singer of the German fusion reggae band Seeed. Together, the pair create a heavy, bass driven cover with dub infused vocals of Queen’s “Another One Bites The Dust”, refined by New York producer and remixer Lee Groves [Janet Jackson, Depeche Mode, Black Eyed Peas].

Chic’s Bernard Edwards classic bass line on “Good Times” was undoubtedly the inspiration for the bass line on Queen’s “Another One Bites The Dust”.

“RE-201” - the new project from the producers at Echo Beach - pays homage to the infamous Roland RE-201 Space Echo, inviting the listener on a sonic journey back to the seventies, echoing through history back to today.
