Tower of Power funk drum legend David Garibaldi and Living Colour innovative bassist Doug Wimbish will headline WesFest 2026, joined by Berklee College of Music Visiting Scholar Victor Wooten and Bass Department Chair Steve Bailey. This all-star quartet will celebrate the life and legacy of Duran Duran bassist Wes Wehmiller ’92 and help raise funds to support the scholarship in his name. Come learn more about Wehmiller and the Wes Wehmiller Memorial Endowed Scholarship, hear world-class jazz/rock, and cheer on Simon Hunt, this year’s scholarship winner.

Doug was amongst the faculty at the 2021 Victor Wooten/Berklee College Summer Bass Camp program held at the Berklee College Campus in Boston, MA. Doug joined bass legends Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey along with many other bass instructors for the 3 day program held on August 16-18. Living Colour drummer Will Calhoun was a special guest at the program.
